Well once again the internet proves to me that opinion is opted as emotion anymore.

I love how a discussion with someone can turn into an all out flame war in the guise of "polite criticism".

Groups spamming my comment page simply because my opinion differed from one of their friends, when others I've asked about this, friends and non-friends alike agree that I in no way got out of line until they started showing up in bunches.

The reality is I have a different opinion and they can't stand the fact that I made a good point about it and pointed out the inaccuracies and inconsistencies in their attempts at arguing.

The immaturity of this group is driving me crazy as they stoop as low accuse me of being harsh for my freedom of langauge.

Honestly; I don't play the internet popularity game. I'm not here to make enemies in some attempt to make myself noticeable. I'm here on Deviantart to look at art.

Ninety percent of the time when I look at a picture anymore I don't even read the damn comment underneath for fear of it being a long pointless rant.

You'd swear this was a community of MCs who only way of gaining foothold is by attacking each other in comments and in their art. That is simply not what this site is about.

So I am going to ask those of you who feel the need to go out of your way to call me rude to take a good look at yourselves before you post your long winded angry "polite" comments in some attempt to forcefully shove your way into my already ended discussion.

Language and such mean nothing if the intent is still there.

Grow up. Accept that I disagreed with your friend, I might of upset him with my difference in opinion, he may have even confided in you about it. That is fine. I don't set out to piss people off by for Christ' sakes I keep my opinion to myself 70% of the time while I read people who 99.9% of the time can't wait to spout it about as if it were a new religion.

I am entitled too it. I constantly read angry opinions I disagree with and I find that it's just too tiring to comment or inject my opinion simply because I know the result will be the other person simply exploding in anger. It's just a pointless cycle.

No one on the internet anymore reads differing opinions in the search of expanding their own thought process and mindset, hell no. They read it for the soul purpose of angering themselves and fueling their hatred and need to further draw themselves apart from humanity.

So I will kindly ask those who feel the need to call me harsh to just keep it to themselves; or hell, note me. I wouldn't report you if you sent me a note threatening to come to my house and rape my blender. Just keep this silliness private and leave my comments section be.

Thank you.

You know, for all the flame wars, n00bs(not to be confused with noobs or newbs) and trolls, the DA community is still the most civil, approachable and friendly online community I know of. XP

Winning an argument on the internet is like winning the Special Olympics. You don't need someone else's validation to feel good about yourself!
:iconakagigryphon:
Agreed. I just find it amazing when when people flame in the guise of polite advise.

Criticism and constructive criticism are not necessarily the same thing.

Wow.

See, this is why I typicaly dislike people. XD

People think I'm witty. I'm not witty, I'm sarcastic. Wit is Wit, sarcasm is being nasty with a smile.

Don't blame ya.

I agree with you whole heartedly, as this sort of thing has happened to me as well. One deviant's friend decided it was cool to read all the comments in her journal and attack the ones who wrote them, all because they asked her to stop sending them notes about religion.
I really do tire of the immaturity at times.

:iconakagigryphon:
Yeah. People should simply just accept difference in opinion and move on.

I agree, but that's just the problem with the world today. No one accepts that people think differently, and so they start conflict over it. Its sad when it happens on DA, because its supposed to be open reign, but oh well.
