I personally hope all starters final forms get Mega-Evolutions.
But with the pokémon and digimon thing, I stand by my opinion that neither copied the other, the concept of battling, evolving monsters is really not that unique a concept in the first place, also originally Digimon did not revert back to lower levels unless they died/reverted to a digiegg.
At least we're in agreement on the "Pokémon and Digimon are different" department, I hate it when people say one is a copy of the other when anyone who is a fan of both series can tell you that they are completely different.
I didn't know about Digimon originally being known as "Digital Demons" thanks for that bit of trivia.
Huh, did not know there were other kinds of fighting V-pets, I know what Digimon started as though.
I will say this, though Digimon and Pokémon are different, the Hunters part of season six does have a rather Pokémon-ish feel...and I love Pokémon and all, but for Digimon, that's not really a good thing, of course opinions will differ.
I'm one of those dirty people who REALLY hated Tamers. I don't find it 'dark or deep' I find it slow, poorly paced, and really melodramatic. It had all the same messages the previous seasons had (and following seasons) with a lot of boring melodrama over emphasized on it. There is nothing wrong with having a dark story, its just I like my dark story to have something happen. I found it hilarious how people go on about how dark and deep it was and almost no humans die in the course of the series.
I think you have completely misunderstood what I meant.
I liked Xros wars, I was talking about Hunters, I liked seeing Digimon as characters and everything like that.
I was referring to Hunters 'catching Digimon' aspect, which felt kind of wrong to me.
Also, I NEVER said Pokémon was a bad anime, in fact I said I loved Pokémon, and if you thought I just meant the games, no, I mean the anime too.
Tamers is my favorite season of digimon, but we can all have our own opinions.
Wait, there's a "mega evolution" for Pokémon now?
