Description

This is a general feature of my newest Godzilla design.

This Godzilla's design is inspired by a lot of things. He is meant to be a chimera and mysterious, to have no one normal animal as a draw of inspiration for the design.

The 'white skull' top is two part inspired by the Lagiacrus from Monster Hunter and the T-rex design in Dinosaur Revolution.

The body is meant to be my interpretation of a bulkier Godzilla.

Koji is a human window to the monster. Koji is NOT Godzilla, but a human avatar that essentially represents Godzilla in unique ways. Basically think more of him as a way to keep the human bits in a Godzilla story from being stagnant.

Very sorry I wasn't checking up over here when you began posting this series. Some general thoughts:

-digging the Betterman-reminiscent take on Big G's lifecycle...working 'Godzooky' in there was an interesting choice, and given your Godzilla's ultimate purpose, the Junior stages' death-duels seem like vital practice.

-The design itself certainly pulls off that 'chimeric' angle you intended; its stylization strikes me as almost manga-medieval (i.e. something you'd see in the pages of Berserk). While those upper legs seem like they could use some beefing-up, I love the thick-taloned forepaws; that skull is respectably fearsome; and for once the elbow/hip/shoulder-spines seem to flow with this particular revamp. Those bristling upper scales also lend your Goji plenty of snazzy texture. All told, a decent blend of potential dexterousness & bestial force.

-I have a marked soft spot for toothy, taloned kaijin, so stuff like Koji's transformation is all too OK with me. Wouldn't mind watching this guy tear his way through a squad of Final Wars-esque mutants/Xians, much less rival man-monsters.

Keep up the beastly work.
