Trying a slightly different style... Baragon is one of my favorite monsters, right up there 75 Godzilla and Gigan.


As much as I loved GMK I hate the idea of itty bitty Baragon. This Baragon would have lasted a bit longer in a fight with big G...

Ooo..nice! I love Baragon too! Whenever i watch GMK, even though i know he's going to lose..i still root for the kaiju underdog! :D

It seems that Baragon always gets his ass kicked. First he gets his neck snapped by Frankenstein and then fried crispy by Godzilla. But he did pull some good moves before he went down for the count. Great pic by the way. =)

He was going to get his ass kicked in by fake Godzilla in the seventies but the costume was falling appart because it was used so many different times in Ultraman... so they used the perfectly fine Anguirus.

Really? I had no idea. So basically he was so beat up that he couldn't recieve another asskicking beacause of all the previous abuse he'd been through? Baragon almost seems to be the kaiju fandom's answer to SouthPark's Kenny.

Well that and the fact that they 'tweaked' the costume so many times for Ultraman that by the time of Destroy all Monsters, the costume was pratically rotting away at the seams. One reason why he never joined the fray.
